"Avoid at All Cost When we purchased our home, Ashley entered the wrong house address during underwriting, and everything went downhill from there. In November, we started receiving refund notices, which we initially thought were related to our rental insurance. We were also repeatedly contacted about needing a house exterior survey, which made no sense because this was already completed during closing. When David from State Guard Property came out, he called us and asked if we lived at 24. We told him no, we live at 23. He then informed us that State Farm had the wrong address on file. On December 3rd, we received an email from Christin showing two photos—one of our home and one of our neighbor’s home. We immediately replied, advising that our binder clearly listed the correct address as 23. Despite this, on December 5th, our policy was canceled and rewritten without our knowledge or consent. This was all done behind the scenes. Our original policy was a one-year policy (August 28, 2025 – August 28, 2026). Ashley originally told us to ignore the payment, and now we are being told we owe a payment due February 16th. To make matters worse, we received a call from underwriting (Bruce), who stated they cannot honor the policy through August 28th because of their mistake. The lack of accountability, communication, and transparency is unacceptable. This was entirely their error, yet we are the ones dealing with the consequences. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy."
